I am in the process of installing a new loom on a car i am rebuilding so lots of things not installed yet.
I can't remember if this is an original switch or a replacement.
I know i have tested the windscreen wiper switch output and the wiper motor moved ok.
However, i am installing the washer fluid and pump. The pump tested separately works fine, but i have an issue with the switch.

In terms of wires/connections on the switch, as far as i understand:
- the double green is the power input
- the red/green is the output to the windscreen wiper motor, and this is live when i i turn the knob on the switch
- the brown/green should also be output to the windscreen wiper motor, but i can only turn the knob on the switch one position, and regardless, this never gets any current/live
- and because of that, even though i can push the knob on the switch in, no current goes down the green/back to the fluid motor (as it gets its feed via that small black link wire)

Should the switch turn to 2 positions, or is there something else going on?

Yes, you should have slow, fast and wash.

I think the fat brown wire should be the 12v Live feed though. Not sure.

Did you get this fixed?

i did. I had to sort out a loose feed wire, but having done that, this is what i arrived at. It is single speed but the washer pump does work.

Mines always been single speed too since I’ve owned it and I’ve never got round to trying to rewire it. Was hoping you might have done the hard bit for me. ;-)
