Just swapping the truck cab roof for a hard top I have lying around, I have replaced the seals around the base of the hard top where it goes onto the tub, but can't recall if there is supposed to be a seal of any description at the front. I have vague recollections of having such a seal but really can't remember!

Truck cab had a rather fine line of silicone bathroom sealant at the front....

Currently I'm going to bolt it up with no seal, cause I can't find one anyway, but if there is one I'll order it in and get it sorted.

This will be my daily driver and is kept outside in all weathers so reducing water ingress at the screen would be a nice gesture.

Yes, there should be a seal along the top of the windscreen. Without it, it will leak like a sieve.
Sounds like it was bodged with silicone previously.

Resist using roofing felt adhesive like the last bloke did on my landy caus it's a bugger to get off.

got my new windscreen seal today, it rained before I had a chance to fit it. Since I have been driving it around for two days I have sort of got used to the small gap where i haven't bolted the screen to the roof....the small gap that today put a fairly neat line of rain across my forehead.....windscreen seal is moving up the priority ladder!
