I see your point gold rover! But it is a possible thought to swap them but what is the likely hood of being pulled by the same copper

My windows are tinted it was like it wen.I bought it I say they are around the 50% tinted I've had tints to 80% tinted and never been pulled on previous cars

As I get older I seem to be becoming wiser I would remove them and be done with it at the end of the day I don't want to be wasting the time.of the local plod who could be attending.more serious crimes/problems etc

In many countries tinting the windscreen and front side windows is illegal as in my opinion it should be. Anything that reduces visibility has got to be a bad thing.
Rear windows are a different matter, if you want to turn your P38 into a van with no side visibility to the rear or from the rear window you are perfectly entitled to, I have a Transit for that.

Probably quite high if it was by a local cop. I got stopped twice in 6 days by the same guy just after I bought mine. First night was because plate was so far from home and I was pulling out of a quiet private estate in the dark of night, second was because my private plate papers had come through and I had put my own plates on. Trust me, when you pull a veh for something, you're very aware of it the next time you see it.
Your last comment is even more reason to just do what is supposed to be done. :)

I saw some reality cop show where a lass in a Rangy had to take the window tint film off at the roadside or have a prohibition notice there and then, stopping the Rangy being moved until windows untinted.Seems a bit extreme, but being a biker too I've had my share of sorrymate I didn't see you moments, one of which has left me with a limp and a leg that doesn't half ache in windy weather. SO TAKE THE TINT OFF (unless you're a drug dealer). We all need to see as well as poss, if the sun's too bright, wear shades

The tints were on the car when i bought it but found them very handy in southern Europe not for blocking out the light but for reflecting the heat.I you were waiting at lights with window open and sun blazing down it was uncomfortable but wind the window up and the heat dropped by about 10 degrees.
As i said in previous posts the front ones now removed and waiting for an inspection but i also believe that its an excuse for pulling you over to do other checks as you say a drug dealers and pimps accessories but i didnt get a breath test as well just a licence check.

You're very close to the truth. Cops hate not being able to see who's driving. Oh and you did have a breath test. One hint of anything on your breath whilst you were talking to the copper and you would have been blowing down a tube.
