Brought a Landy to LZ11. Yay!!
I'm in the process of fettling my 'new' 300Tdi.

Its a 3 dr on an R reg and I'm after a set of window rubbers for the rear windows above the dickie seats and a set of rubbers for the rear passenger windows.

Does anyone have any idea where I might stumble across a serviceable/new set at a reasonable price - I've hit brick walls so far as most places on the net flag them as obsolete/unobtainable?!?

I can't see that being the case as any firm with the gear to make these would fill a vital gap in the market and also make a fair few quid I would imagine.

Been on their site - no chance probably - have to ring 'em. Don't really need to ring 'em to be told they are unobtainable.

Check ebay also check the for sale section as someone is selling a pair of Alpine light weatherstrips (windows above the rear seats).

The ones on my disco were bad too, so I serviced them. I used black gutter sealant to fill in all the cracks and black under body seal to wax up n waterproof the seals.. Seems to be working a treat..

Top help so far guys - just to clarify its not the alpine window seals - stacks of them about - its the main rear windows that look into the boot that sit directly over the dickie seats.

I can't believe that they are discontinued either for the 5 dr or 3dr.

Its going to be a right pain if they are indeed no longer available for the 3 dr. I've already got a slight down feeling about ownership, especially when you consider that bits for series landys are widespread!

im in the same sinking ship cant find them anywhere, dont want to swap for 2nd hand if i can help but its looking like my only option :(

Allright Butt ?

Those windows over the dickie seats are al the same for 3 or 5 door ?

Rimmer boys should have them !?

They got all the others .

The rear quarterlight rubbers are still available new as I have just fitted both sides and a new rear screen rubber to my five door Discovery 1. The three door rubbers and glass are the same parts.
I am in the windscreen business and we obtained the rubbers from one of our normal suppliers, so I presume that we can get further supplies if anyone is interested.

Just a thought, try a windscreen company, they must need new seals when they take broken glass out where the seals had it?

Sorry I haven't replied lately - SWMBO has put a temporary block on my fettling activities. She's gonna brain me when she signs for the many bits and bobs I've won on the bay - just little bits and bobs that are mainly cosmetic and will improve on the worn bits there already.

If you can, could you PM me a price for a set of rubbers - I reckon I can swing those as vital for the long term integrity - especially as she's taken it out tonight on a 'girls' night out - I know :behindsofa: - but her car is just too nice to park in town on a friday night!
