new motor a reg fitted £30 delivered goes up and down fine now but the rubbers are old and tired and slowing it down a lot..

anyone know where I can get some universal ones I'm not paying retail it's silly money I must be albe to get something that will work somewhere both internal and external?
Try a smear of liquid soap or Swarfegar in the channel and see if that helps ...

Yeah tried that it's still just a bit too tight and is pro ably what killed my first motor, also the inside is a velvet and that just dries out really quick, plus the external is not making a perfect Sealand is very cracked..

Sounds like re-build is on the cards :)

work van I meant lol bloody keyboard, maybe the alliminium has swelled slightly int the rubbers either way they look tatty I'm sure there's something that would do the job..

Shame you can't run a gauge type wedge down the channel to open it up - you know screwdriver type thingy ...

bought some silicone spray today from the car boot I'll give that a try the more I look tho it's almost as if the glass aha grown or the doors shrunk it's an extremely tight margin length wise also I may need to cur the rubber off that folds over into the gap aswell, if I can't find a decent replacement rubber
