Afternoon all!
Bit of a random one for ya.
Got a 2003 Defender 90 with electric windows factory fitted. Had nothing but problems with them for quite a while now, broken wires, connectors deciding not to connect etc.
Is it possible to go from electric windows to old fashioned manual window winder handles. Is it simply a case of binning the electric window regulator & bolting a new manual one in its place?

I guess if you can get a hold of the plate inside that holds the regulator and a winder door card recon it should be possible.

SP4x4 will be able to provide you the parts, as they have them in bulk with their door kits they sell

Thanks for that, our local L/R indie gave me a blank look & shrugged his shoulders when i asked him. Left it with him so see what he comes up with i guess. Will deffo look at SP4X4 web site & ask the question.

Yes, but I'm unsure if the bolt pattern on the electric ones is the same or not.. speak with sp4x4 explain what you want to do
