Not if you don't tie them in a noose, and they are thick enough. You want about a 2 inch plus diameter rope, braided ideally, and tie both ends to the towbar.

You would deffo need to tie this truck to a tree while you dealt with it ...

Very lucky to be alive. And they will probably need a crane to recover that one!

If you loop a strop around one end of the timber to be moved, chances are it will rotate and dig into the ground. Best to use two stops, one each end and drag the timber up sideways.
