Hi all I have a L322 2003 range rover vogue. I was just about to order some 22'' Tiger Style Alloy Wheels like this

but then remembered reading somewhere they will not fit if you have a brembo brake kit fitted. I have the brembo brake kit fitted and asked the seller and they said they do not know. so my question is will they fit?? if not would it be possible to use a alloy wheel spacer like this to solve the problem Terrafirma Range Rover L322 30mm wheel spacers on eBay (end time 18-Feb-11 16:20:04 GMT) ??

please can someone help me out with this before i spend my hard earned money on something that might not fit ;)
thanks from Patrick

Easiest way is to measure the radius of your caliper from the hub centre and then ask the seller to measure the id of the wheel.

hi thanks for the reply but not 100% sure what you mean when u say measure the radius of the caliper from the hub center?? how do i do this? do i take the wheel off and measure from the center of the wheel area to the top of the caliper??

please let me know, I currently have theses wheels fitted on my range rover in 20"

and they fit fine. but like i said remember reading somewhere that the tiger ones wont fit with brembo brakes.

On another note, how much better are the Brembo 4 pot brake set up, compared to standard?

I'm tempted to get the Brembo calipers as they are a straight swap.

Your spot on. Remove wheel, measure from centre of hub to outsside of the caliper and this will give you the radius. Multiply this figure by 2 to get the diameter. If this diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of the new wheel your ok.

Unless its an offset thing and the calipers catch on the back of the spokes.

Just a thought?

Well if this was the problem would the spacers work???

as for getting the radius of your caliper could i not just measure my spare wheels inner part then if the new wheels are the same or bigger this would be ok ?? the spare is the same as the wheels fitted.

I'd be very surprised to find that the Brembo brakes will cause problems going from 20 to 22 inch rims.

Aren't these calipers the same as the ones fitted to the Supercharged RR?

The ONLY problem you MIGHT encounter is that the caliper will be deeper and catch the inside of the spokes as Steve_R mentioned. Diameter won't be a problem.

I'd also be VERY surprised if Overfinch made a wheel that would not accept big calipers.

Oh and watch out for pot holes - 22 inch rims will crack due to the weight of the car and tyre profile.

thanks i think am going to take a chance and see how i get on.... i really want the wheels so if they dont fit will think about changing the brembo brakes, thanks for all your help I will post and let you know if they fit.
thanks again

You buying new or second hand?

I'd say a good price for a second hand set o 4 Tigers will be about £1000 to £1200 - depending on the tyres and condition tho - that'd be a price for minters so pay no more than £1200

Recently saw a set of 4 Overfinch Super Sports go for £600 on ebay  - someones lucky day

right i have ordered them, going to try them and see how much they dont fit by, and then hopefully buy some spacers to solve the problem. will post an update next week

Im on the verge of purchasing a set of alloys the same style as yrs for my l322 v8 vogue but they are 20 inch i am unsure whether or not they are genuine or not do you happen to know the the original name for these alloys and ways to check if genuine or not? Also i have noticed some alloys have overfinch embossed in the alloy is that on all or just 22 inch. Would be very grateful if someone could clear this up for me pls lol.
