Right, i know tyres and wheels have been covered many times, but i want a straight answer, cause i can't work it out!

i want these tyres 235/70R16 Kingpin Advantage MT
but i don't want to buy any new wheels at the minute.. so i still have the original wheels on.. there the rostyle defender/range rover wheels. and they currently have 205/80R16s on

Will those kingpin tyres fit on those rims? as i cant find on them or take the tires off yet to find out what the rim width is..

I find that if the tyre doesn't pop off the rim then it'll fit

turns out there 6.5 inch the Rostyles.. and ye they do fit... nice and snug

to answer your question, as long as the rims and tyres are both 16 inch, they will fit.

So the answer is they do but you SHOULD have 7.5J's MINIMUM

Rostyle wheels are 6" not 6.5"

Each tyre manufacturer will provide details of the range of rim widths suitable for each tyre size.

As an example, General Grabber 235/70/16 are OK on anything between 6" and 8" rims.....so they would be fine on the Rostyles.
