Hi guys, will a rhino roof rack from a 2010 defender 90 fit on a 1990 land rover 90? I have googled and searched on here I've even emailed suppliers and one said yes and one said no!! Has anyone done this or failed trying?

Cheers lads, I hope so because I've bought it on eBay and I'm gonna drive up in my 90 and fit it there and drive home! Fingers crossed haha!

I slid a 110 roof rack off by myself and I'm 65 so should be no problem

The wife and I lifted the 110 roof rack in place then pushed it over. The far side had a rope tied to it in order to lower it down without damaging or scratching anything - simples. To remove is the opposite principle.

I used to slide mine on and off from the back along the gutters.

I see what you mean now mate. Thanks for the tip but a few scratches won't make any difference to the aesthetics of my 90- not with the dented wings, broken grill, chipped windscreen, dented rear side panels, bent door- bloody hell I've just depressed myself with how much work the body needs lol!

dont know how much the rhino cost you just paid £157 for this truxraks type new and guaranteed for as long as i own the 110,pipr tubes off my old van

They look sweet mate. Igot a 2 year old modular roof rack with full width roller for £180. I've got bars at the mo but there not the best for carrying boards if I'm honest- yours look solid tho.
