That's right mate - not your fault though buddy! The wheels are top notch. Got a part-worn Goodyear Wrangler fitted on the one with less tread today.. 5mm to match the others.

Plus I just spotted wil2813's earlier post...

It would seem I have the later wheelnuts when I need the earlier ones. I've contacted the seller as he didn't mention them being for a specific year, just general L322. He has a big Land Rover shop so hopefully he'll be able to swap them.

Nah mate, it's the other way around. The P38 wheelnuts are huge (27mm) compared to the L322 nuts (22mm). You're right about the spigot rings, but I got those - the centre bore's all nice and snug. It's just the wheelnuts - they *just* won't fit in the holes. But the P38 ones aren't even close - way too big.

Ok logged that now thought it was other way round. :):):)

Bit late I know.......

You can easily tell the early L322 Hurricanes from the later versions by looking at the little extra holes in between the road wheel holes - the earlier 2002-06 wheels have little holes all the way through, the later 2006 on wheels only have dimples.

Thanks Alan. I was never in doubt as to which wheels I had, as I knew which car they came from. It was the wheelnuts which threw me as, until I went to fit them, I assumed all L322 used the same size. I now know different and will be sourcing the smaller 20mm nuts.. the seller has agreed to refund the 22mm's once I've sent them back.
