I have bought a 300 tdi disco with a few nice toys on it and was wondering if the devon 4x4 winch bumper on it atm will fit to my 90? i know the chassis legs are the same width apart because disco axles go straight onto defenders what don't know whether the front dumb iron shape differs or if the disco ones are higher/lower in relation to thew bodywork?

The bumper is one of these but i can't remember which one off the top of my head

Thanks guys, Harry.

If you can be arsed to go outside and look you will see that defender and disco bumpers are fitted differently. Anything can be made to fit anything though if you want it to.

yer dont wanna a fender ......all you'll do spent a mortgage sortin it out and puttin toys on it then a 10k spray job....then yer'll be to frightened to take it lanin incase yer scratch it :D:D:D

oi took it to work today and i reccon one of the conractors felt sorry for me as he welderised me door fer nothin !

Hughsey i would have checked but i'm at uni and the disco is over 100 miles away at home. Wiltshire Landyman i would love to but i'm a broken student, and only bought the disco as it was such a good deal so figured i would try to swap the disco winch bumper onto the defender as a guy offered me a full disco 300tdi ES front bumper for £25. I will have a look next time i go home...in the meantime i'm off to find a welder!
thanks guys, Harry

I wouldn't worry, i painted it in nato green with a brush and knock dents out with a lump hammer and my boot! The series 3 will be the one with a nice spray job soon :)
