I have a very low miles RRS complete rolling chassis (minus engine and box) would like to build a pickup from it using a D3/4 body. I know the RRS chassis has a slightly shorter Wheelbase, -5.5 inches, but assuming l can make the body fit as l would be chopping the back off anyway, can anyone confirm if the Disco engine bay would fit a 3.6 Tdv8 ?
Would obviously be easier to use a complete d3 and cut the back/top off but have the RR chassis so wanna make use of it.. could always stick with the v6 but fancy a V8 !

The 2.7 can be tuned up to a good degree,

The TDV8 3.6 is nice powerhouse to have, but full of problems.

I have a 3.0 SDV6, which needs repair but thought the V8 was meant to be more reliable ?
If it fits in the RRS, would imagine it will go in D3 bay..?

TDV8 isn't more reliable, about the same as the TDV6 if not slightly worse.
