Has any one ever done one of these organised by land rover adventure club?
Seems alright but before i part with me hard earned was wondering if there were any thoughts, basically gonna cost 110.00 for a weekend laning in wales and wild camp on sat night..
I am a novice to this stuff so please any thoughts??:)

yep.Better off going with someone off here they wont rape ya for money. They may physcially but ya takes ya chances

Yep thanks did seem a bit steep.. Just keep an eye out for a meet tht way. cheers:)

what ever you do dont go with pro trax ever i am in wales nearly every month you are more than welcome and its not going to cost you £110

its ridiculous, people charging that kind of money to go lanning...

I've seen advertised the "wilthisre safari", starting in Devizes, going through Salisbury Plains and ending in Marlbourough.... at well over 100 quid per car!!

WTF?!?!?!?!

It's a public place!! why do they charge people so much money to take them around the lanes? and I bet they dont do anything fun as I do when I go out on the plains!

Yet another example of "a fool and their cash are easily parted". I've never quite understood how they can get away with it! Once I do figure it out....I'll be a rich man!

I tagged along with my dad on one of these a while back, was good fun but everywhere they go is designed for any bog standard unmodded vehicle to go (the guide had a disco 2 with no mods and road tyres), there were also a couple of tracks that were very dull, i have rougher tarmac roads where i live. Also to be honest if you skipped the crap parts you could do all the rest in one day. It is alot of money at £110 + accomadation + food and at the mo one part is closed for repairs so your getting even less for your buck. But don't get me wrong IF i had the money to burn i would do it again.
If thats an open invitation i wouldn't mind joining you 90boy sometime
