Wife has just got herself a 2001 Diesel Freelander 3 door TD4 with 60000 on the clock. It'll be up to me to maintain it.
She loves the driving position and has already clocked up loads of miles in just one week.

we are in West Wales so no shortage of 4x4 Landrovers down here :)

Although many will probably disagree, In my eyes a Freelander is NOT a real land rover.

But, Welcome to the forum I'm sure if you need any help there's loads of people about here that can help out a lot (some might even work for tea and "chip" butties if ya ask nicely) :) hope ya like it here they're a great bunch

Ps. If your easily offended I wouldn't click on anything in "anything goe's" thats been posted in by Fanatic :p

Hi mate I'v had my TD4 Xreg for 14 months and has been brill 17000 miles in one year, just keep reg oil change and change the turbo pipes A.S.A.P.....Biggest prob is back door, prone to cables snapping but regulator set can vary from £50-£250....have removed propshaft to aid performance and helps on wear and tear of back diff...PS you need silicone pipes when you change them ..very important !!!!.....
