It assumes that std rims will be used and you obviously didn't read very far as it does list a 255 tyre size.

The link gives the max tyre size (dia) to fit a discovery not the rim width.
Your standard wheels are 7J and according to a Rim Width Calculator you don't have to move up to 8J rims to fit 255 70 16 tyres.

Well I've ordered a set but mine are 255 65 R16 and having them fitted tomorrow so I sure hope they fit!! Or thats going to be embarrassing

The 255 will be a very slightly larger diameter than the 235 by 0.79 cm.......:behindsofa:
A 255-65 x 16 has a lower profile than a 235-70 x 16, but not a smaller overall diameter.......
