I don't trust any one selling a cheap land rover?

Just spoken to one chap and he sounds desperate to sell the landy as quick as possible, "can you come today?" "hurry up and let me know"
From what he said over the phone he bought it off ebay and is moving it on and now all of a sudden a vehicle I was all geared up to go and pick up today I suddenly dont want!

Then there is the one thats had the original chassis swapped out for one off another landy but with no history or VOSA test cert!

What a bloomin mine field it is!

Dude, if you are the least bit suspicious...just leave it alone. It will save much grief.

Just walked away from one that I'm pretty much convinced is a ringer or stolen!
Different key for every lock, damage to the lock area on ever door and all the running gear looked miss matched!

Move along. Theres definitely one out there for you somewhere. Its not as if there's a shortage of ones for sale.

Looks like its had a hard life but looks solid from a distance. Replacement bulkhead and cross member could be good.
But 194k on a 19j? Is that the original motor still? That would worry me a bit unless I'd budgeted for a replacement.

As ever condition is all and be objective when you look at it.

Just found out its not taxed so probably not even going to look at it now as I would have needed to drive it away!
