Just come in and found a package of goodies from Paddock(Rock sliders,steering guard,bonnet chequer plate).Ever since I can remember getting LR parts makes me feel like a kid at christmas!Why is this?Ive had loads of cars and tractors and they dont fill me with emotion except rage at the prices. Any ideas or am I the only one who feels like this?Just wanted to share my joy with the world!

Perhaps because you know that when you get them it is easy to go and bolt them on within a few minutes - whilst often if you get stuff for other cars fitting things is a little more involved!

p.s spray the chequer plate black to at least have some decency

you've answered your own question!lol it's because it's land rover parts. even though we've just had an interesting weekend with my disco, i was straight on the net as soon as we got back. (still in my oil stained, 2 day old clothes) looking for bits.told RAC to naff off when they offered me a corsa (don't swear at me!lol) and that they would recover sally at some point on sunday (this was sat night in a layby..) and reun her to us 'some time this week'. due to silverstone having some event or other all hotels were full, but would have slept in my car rather than abandon her to the rac....
any other motor it would have been ok, then home in crap car and not worried. i'm probably more protective of my land rover than i am of my kids. just laughed at my dad, as he thought i needed convincing she's a good car. he's not got a landy so just doesn't understand it.

doesn't help when tesco have been selling selection boxes since the start of this month.

Thanks for your reassuring words guys and girls!Only recently been able to post due to slightly improved internet access but have read for some time on dial up.Makes me feel normal(almost!).Chequer plate is not cosmetic but will be applied heavily masticed as part of major soundproofing drive to reduce the din on long towing missions.Sad to hear of your diff-iculties Sarah,I think the most agreed topic on here is thatyou sound like the best woman!Keep at it(driving and fixing your vehicle).Like the man says"imrovise,adapt,overcome!

It always feels like christmas when paddocks deliver. As a bonus they usually forget something so the feeling continues over the whole week as they deliver everything they should have the first time

Ive been there too mate but on this occasion they were spot on.Delivered in 24hrs too despite my not paying for express(Cornish miser!).U can see why I was happy!
