My Mrs' 300 tdi is driving me to drink :D

The central locking is not working. You press the single button on the fob and the lights do the flashing bit to either turn on or off the alarm but you still need to open the drivers door will the key, then jump in and open all the other doors individually as the key Only opens the drivers door:mad: so I have tried two other known good central locking motors which do nothing different so it just cant be that... Oh when I had all the door card off and the central locking motor in my hand, I pressed the button and I could feel a sort of movement inside the casing but not enough to move the bellowed finger :D:D:D

Anyone had this problem?? if so I am all ears :welcome2:

I'll tell you why, yes they may have their little 'knacks' But what vehicle (I am talking about my 90) what vehicle just being there will encourage a complete stranger to come over to you and talk to you about you landy, their landy or some story about them and a landy. It brings people together, doesn't matter where your from, how rich, poor, big, small, you can be the land owner or the man who works on it.
nothing remarkable happened when I owned a ford or vauxhall

Love it, hate it or leave it.

Had different 4wheelers over the years and really used them for work and travelling but it`s a better feeling to drive the best 4by4byfar!

Is it forbidden to replace a dead dog?
No, but a dead dog can be useful as a decorative ornament, not my taste but people do it :p Replacing a dog doesn't feel the same though, you get too used the personality of the dead one! Same with defenders, if the engine goes, we replace it, we don't throw it out :D

Got to say had this all the time in my aircooled beetles lol,
Can you not strip the barrels down on Land rovers and rebuild them to suit your key??? ( do it properly and its better than the original do it wrong and a screw driver will do the job)

Bought myself a 110 in September after wanting it for 30 years or so since I was 4!
So far, it's cost me a fortune - two sets ofwheel bearings, umpteen minor repairs, two trips on an AA recovery wagon, 30+ hours of tinkering and several kinned knuckles. It's cold as hell in the winter, noisy and smelly, and I love it to bloody bits!
My previous motor was an Omega - I treated it like ****, resented every penny I spent on it and regarded it purely as a necessary drain on my money. I love spending time repairing the 'fender and know that I every penny I spend is an investment, seeing as I intend to keep her for many years.
Plus, I grin like a loon everytime I get in and start her up!

Nothing more comforting then jumping into a warm V8 and hearing the burble after towing a piece of crap out of a hole in the snow/****ing rain:):)
