:doh:Who ever came up with the hydraulic master cylinder on freelanders should be shot, what a stupid ****ed up way, what’s wrong with a cable from the pedal to the gear box

Could be worse, it could share the master cylinder with the brake system same as the Ford KA!

had a ka once and it lasted longer then the shed i have now :hysterically_laughi

It doesn't share the brake master cylinder it shares the brake resoviour like most cars these day's cuts costs to the manufacturer.
