well..

I'm 30, ECC license, 0 no claims bonus.

Disco - £120 TPFT
Defender - £90 TPFT

But... I have a car which is down as my main transport, plus 2 motorbikes, so this might bring insurance down a bit

Was £340 but that was fully comp with business-use, and 24k miles/year.

Last year I got a new day-to-day car, and use the Disco less - now £94 tpft.

Suddenly my quote doesnt seem to cheap lol.....

Fair enough mate, I do live in the middle of nowhere.

Wouldn't you be better off getting a series landie with a tdi conversion and insuring it as a classic? might save yourself a couple of grand each year.
