Main stealers over here will charge around €110 (£75) to reset a fault. I have Rovacomlite and charge around €40 (£27) to reset faults if the motor is bought to me. Obviously, if I have to do 3hrs driving there & back in the 4.6 it aint cheap and my time and fuel costs have to be covered. I had to buy the system in the first place and need a contribution towards it and any future software that I need.

My mate has a kit from snap-on, which i laughed at, but found a few faults which my LPG ecu had shoved in to my engine ecu, so it also cleared them, it also found an aircon fault, which i didn't know about and cured that too, that cost me eeeeeeeerrrrrr! nothing as i was having an MOT at the time and he was just learning to play with the software and mine was the first to drive in. I think my mate generally charges £25 per hour, if under an hour, he charges £20
