Some classic cars look their best with whitewall tyres.

However, there is one problem: those tyres are not easy to clean. Inadvertent contact with kerbstones can leave permanent marks.
 
They went out of fashion because the look fookin stupid on modern cars, as MHM said "SOME clasic cars look their best with whitewall tyres"
 
But good on you adam for trying something different. hope you like them, its just not for me. and as someone pointed out- Great work getting them on the table, let alone inside the house.
 
OK all what a bad day and embarrassment to top it off , finished the whole job put all 4 wheels on freelander than took it for a drive , all was fine until i went down town everyone seem to looking at me :0 so i than thought what a great job i done as people admiring the landrover , suddenly i hear from rear a noise :( what is that noise i think to my self it was like a flapping sort of sound so i than pulled over - wtf as i looked at the wheels the whitewall paint just peeled of like skin FFS thats why people were looking in a amazement. so i than drove home and got the jet wash out and took it all off and how easy was it to take off about Min's yeah all that hard work, sorry guys i have learned my lesson the hard way . its been an experience
