Hi,
I have been searching all over the internet and cannot find anywhere local(ish) to Bedford that hires Defenders. As the title suggests I am after a White station wagon for my wedding 13.12.14. I would ideally want it to be well looked after, and I'm not really that bothered about the age as long as it is mint!
I would ideally like it to be driven, but if not and you are happy for me to I can source my own driver. The wedding will be in the Bedford area and it will be needed all day(ish)

Please let me know if you have one, or know anyone or a company that I have not yet come across

I will IF I have to make do with silver but ideally white!
 
ask away... some people like the forum rules to be followed (post in introduction section first) but, meh, dpeends how uppity people are.

Afraid I only have a Disco 3 and a really old Series - neither in white so can't help.

You could ask:

SHB4x4 - they hire landy's

land rover - get a all day test drive :p

buying one... they're great motors :D

And thanks, they have a silver one but not white, will hold out to see if anyone comes back with a white one.

Will get one, one day but the wedding comes first and then he can spend as much as he want's on one! :)

There's a fair few kicking round on eBay, not bad prices either.


KMareri - If i win big on the lottery between now and your wedding i'll buy a white 110 and come and drive you around for a day... that's the limit of what I can offer really.

We have a perfectly restored, original 1949 Series 1 - but that's Green and there is no way in a million years it's getting painted white :p

I had an unlimited budget to spend on my wedding car :D - mainly cus they only thing I wanted was a XK120 roadster in british racing green and the only place which hired them is in Devon and you can't leave the county, so, we couldn't see any point paying to hire something sub-standard so just put the crashed Spitfire back on the road :) (which is what i had the unlimited budget for) - the "unlimited" budget didn't stretch to £80k to buy a XK120 :(
 
I have a white one, but as it is 26 years old and used everyday, it is far from mint. Although as the wedding is in December, I may have repainted it by then.

Yes I am aware of this, and have no issue with it either! :)

And thanks 'bump' I would say I'll hold you to that, but I wouldn't know either way! lol :confused:

Ah yes. .get the poor fooker married before hes allowed to have one....:p
