It's polite to nip over to the intro section and say hello first but :welcome2: anyway. I'd suspect injector fault but I'm sure someone who knows better will be along in a bit
 
hello all sorry have not done the intro thing yet ..but i will.. the cylinder head was replaced only about 6 months ago with a completely new one, water level is good, i have the inter-cooler off at the moment for a clean as it is very oily, whats the best way to clean said inte-cooler ?
 
Flush inter cooler with petrol, remove from car first though...

BUT LEAVE TO BREATH FOR AT LEAST 30 MINS AFTER OR THE ENGINE WILL REV IT'S NUTS OFF.

is there suppose to be oil coming from the Turbo ?

some will as normal so pipes will be wet but if you pull pipe from turbo to coooler off let engine run at idle,and oil drips or worse from turbo its knackered and engine shouldnt be run with pipe reconnected
 
thats the oulet pipe ..yes..i will check tomorrow on that, engine appears to have plenty of power and it only smokes when warm and when slowing down.. but then its real James Bond type smoke, you say Knackered are we talking new turbo ?
