Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some advice!
I have had my '98 diesel freelander for just over 6 months. Since then i have had 4 tyres & a new exhaust.
But my current problem started about a month ago, i had a very bad rumbling noise which was diagnosed as the Viscous coupling so i put on a complete prop shaft.
Now i have a whining noise which doesnt get louder as i go faster but only starts at about 30mph. Also i have jacked all 4 wheels of the floor and run through the gears and NO noise.
Any help would be much apprciated as my cars been off the road for over a month and my local garage cant figure out what it is!
(P.S the IRD was replaced a year ago!!!)
Thanks Kris
