Hi guys looking at replacing my current set of malatesta kaimen tyres with a new set of same tread, thing is the insa turbo special track also has same tread pattern so which should I buy? Which is best ? Which is strongest and do they both have same tread depth to start with? . Cheers guys and gals!

All I'm asking for is personal preference between the two. I'm aware both are remoulded tyres and this isn't an issue for me as I only use twice a month for pay and play. All I was asking is have people had issues with either of the tyres then swaying my decision towards the other. Thank you difflock66 for the links I'll have a read now.

Fedima sirrocos, harder compound than special tracks and others, last longer but are more prone to cracking. Special tracks have large side lugs and weaker side walls unlike fedimas .
I wouldn't go for the malatesta there a very cheap remould compared to fedima & insa turbo.

Fedima & insa both the same price, (£1 difference on tyres direct)
I personally have gone for fedima due to the longer life& strength (ex lorry tryes), am not worried about loosing out on the slightly larger side lugs insas have.
These are in 285 size. 265 & smaller special tracks don't come with the larger side lugs anyway.
What size were you planning on getting?

Do a search of the interweb, devon 4x4 forum is very useful for this type of info.

Hi thanks for reply . I was looking at 265 75 16 again and if fedima are only a quid more I will have those as heard good things of a few searches but thought they were much more in cost.

You'll struggle to find 265 fedima sirrocos, normaly only 285 and bigger.
If your looking for 265s id stick with insa turbos matey,
