Anyway, tone lowering aside, I've just put 235x85 R16 on my disco and they're fine on my disco with standard suspension having removed the bottom half of the bumper and a camel cut.
Yes Nathan, I said BOTTOM, whey!!!;)

OK I just checked the poll results - who's not taking it seriously and picked 205s????
(It wasn't me even though that's what I currently have)

And if you're serious, why ???

OK now there's 2 people voted for the 205s - and it's still not me.

Come on 'fess up :D

Well, unless I won the competition to win a set of tyres, it looks like I'll be stuck with my 205s until they wear out :(

They have been very good so far though :D

Get some 235 85s man!! I put some on my disco on disco steels a few months back, can't fault em. Pirelli scorpion muds, barely used, set of 4 off a mate for 150 squids. I do always get nervous about low car parks though with the roof bar and everything though!
All I had to do was trim the back corner of the rear arches a LITTLE BIT and they were fine. I'd already removed the bumper trim. That and I adjusted the steering stops too.
Still worth it, so get on ebay and get it done!

fitted some 31 10 50 15 with 8x15 8 spokes fitted on standard suspension set up never had to adjust or cut anything..

I got 265/75/16 on mine with no anti roll bars and I get no body roll? I do have updated springs tho?
