lol I haven't even got a heat shield as yet, but again its good to think about these things. (Do it nice or do it twice and all that)

They are about £20 on the bay of fleas, IIRC. your good alternator will die just as quickly without it - IMHO, fit a new shiny heat shield ASAP !

Oh for sure I will get one, I just got a load of stuff to do first. My priority for now is to get the engine running, unfortunately I'm still waiting on Allisport to get back to me with a price for a few items in order for me to do this!! I may start looking else where as time is of the essence.

Any advice on where to get good quality parts/upgrades? I have read numerous posts advising to stay away from Britpart, although I have also read a few the disagree with that!

I like that, looks pretty smart, gives it a slight look of the D1 Saudi Spec front grille, which I always wanted to get for my Disco. I might do this. Expanded Stainless Steel is it?
