Hi all, new to owning a Disco , got a 200Tdi which is slow to warm up so going to replace the thermostat (if its got one !!)

just a little confused, the Haynes Comic says it should be an 82o stat but have seen 88o stats on the net.....can someone please confirm what temp stat should be fitted....part number would be cool

thanks a lot

I did try searching but couldn't find which temp to fit....

err2803 is the part number, 88 deg

It should be the 82 one but i have changed mine for the warmer one cant remember might be 88 but whatever is fitted to the 300tdi. It does help.

...got my stat from LR....defo 88 degrees...got the old one out welded stuck open....now having roasting ot heater and proper reading on temp gauge...wicked....

82 mine warms up slow if you want quick get a electric fan

took the fan off my 300tdi yesterday as it took ages to warm up, not sure that it's made any difference. How long does it take your to warm up, mines a good4/5 miles before the gauge even moves
