Im sure this has been asked many times but any suggestions on brand i dont want to spend a fortune but would like a 2" lift heavy duty spring and shock set, many thanks in advance

Hi markyb i had my shocks and springs fitted 2 days ago. I spent a long time looking and decided to go with terrafirma heavy duty medium load. and bought from craddocks for 249.00. Was unsure if id ruin ride comfort but it 100% improvement. Road handling and steering in and out of rounabouts is a dream no body roll and holds firmly. Also look the bollocks with silver and blue. They have my recomondation

Sorry to butt in but have you any pictures with them fitted

Terrafirma +2 shocks on mine as well but just running with RRC Police spec HD springs so only around a 1" lift.

Also just fitted a southdown snorkel to my 300tdi with ABS. Excellent quality, perfect fit and I think it was only £140 on ebay. Highly recommended.

I have bearmach 1" springs with 1" spacers on mine, with original shocks.

Also made my own snorkel with the odd part from Southdown ;)

Terrafirma +2 inch HD springs front and rear with terrafirma big bore shocks. Improved road holding and handling. Managed to get a secondhand snorkel.

Stu, did you have your 265/70s on your standard alloys with just your +1" springs ?

I've got +1" springs on already but not yet fitted my 1" spacers under the spring seats. I'm still deciding between 265/70s and 235/85s and thinking I might be able to get away without the spacers.
