I have a 01 4.0litre with lpg ,which spark plugs should I be using.
A lot of them seem to be a fortune.:confused:

i was toldnot to use the platinum ones for lpg. ngk BPR6ES were recommended to me, see my post called spark plugs

According to the NGK web site these ngk BPR6ES are not the correct spark plugs, they say the PFR6N-11 are the ones. they are a lot more expensive.

Let me put it this way....I have been using them for years on my 4.6 without problems .
I am running on environmentally Unleaded not LPG.

Blimey,not bin in ere fer months....... Still the same questions,still the same answers,BPR6ES will do fine - petrol or LPG.

Well I did for a while ! Alot has changed for me recently,I've made a few decisions with my LR business,no more investment in diagnostic kit,no more mobile work at other garages and no more working for free...
Now I'm doing other stuff beside LR,a few classic cars and bikes have found their way into my hands.
There is an 8.9Ltr Cobra replica on the ramp at the moment,should be a bit of fun,making sure its making the odd 600bhp its supposed too....

This is the motor;

8inav sent you a pm through your profile..did you get it or should i send again?? is that a yamaha xt or dt in the background

Just found your message ! Have you sorted it yet ? If not I'd stick it on Testbook and watch live data values for airflow,oxy sensors and all the engine temp sensors,I think the answer will lay there.
The bike is a 1978 TY250 which I ride in twinshock trials - its booked in for the Dartmoor 2 day in September.....
