i'm not sure what you mean by a service kit? the air filter is an oil bath.. clean it and put new oil in. change the plugs if they look worn.. clean the fuel filter bowl if it looks grubby or got water in it.. change the plugs and points of they look worn and/or adjust as necessary
If you take the fuel pump bowl off, good luck getting it back on with a good seal. You will also need an oil filter and some engine oil, nothing fancy.

Britpart do service kits for Series, but you need to get the right one.
Obviously, they come in petrol and diesel, so I assume he knows which of those he has.
There are also two different oil filters, long and short.
From memory, early Series have the short filter, later have the long filter which is the same as the filter for diesel engines.
I think the question is about which points/condenser to buy.
There are 3 distributors fitted to Series 3 - Lucas 25D4, Lucas 45D4 and Ducellier.
The Ducellier was only fitted to late Series 3s, but they can get swapped in to replace worn Lucas dizzies, so the only way to know for sure is to look at what's on your engine. The two Lucas units are shown below (25D4 top, 45D4 bottom). If it ain't either of these then it's probably a Ducellier...
