Hi, the time is here for me to up grade my mobile so just wounded if anyone has found a phone that is fully compatible with their RR L322 with touch screen sat nav, at the moment I have a Nokia 5800 music but every time I leave the car I need to go through the connection setting, starting to pea me off, any help would be great.Cheers Dave

Thanks, I was thinking the iphone 4 but the shop assistant said that the iphone was not good at pairing up with ( some other ) bluetooth systems.

htc has been great. can do loads to it, and it takes a good knock.

Hi, I did look at the HTC incredible s, looks very nice, the shop assisitant said that this (should) work with my Bluetooth, but I don't want to get a phone on the saying Should, I may give RR a call and see which phone would be the best for my system

Go iphone at least if you decide to buy any other Range rover brand new you can connect. My fathers latest RR sport came with iphone kit already built in. You connect a special usb cable between the phone and usb port and bring all you phone info up on front touch screen. He also has a 07 xk8 jaguar which i think uses the same gear as the range rovers around that same age and the blue tooth works fine binding. No need to rebind every time.
Note thats with iphone, not sure if they change at all between the years
Ps
don't listen to what the store sales staff know about the connection those pimply face twits normally know very little.
best bet if in doubt give land rover a call

I have the iPhone and it connects to bluetooth on the trucks at work no probs, in fact it's so good you can be sat in the cafe and it still rings in the truck!

the issue with the nokia is down to the permission setting on the phone, I had this too. in the bluetooth menu there is a setting for "automatically connect without asking permission" or similar.

I changed it on mine and it's worked fine ever since.

Also worth getting your bluetooth module's firmware updated if you haven't done this already. Mine was hopeless before the update but now connects fine to everything I've ever asked it to - Blackberry, iphone, HTC Desire and a couple of others.

There's a bloke on Disco3 site, username WIGGS who does this mail order (Exchange) for 70 quid I think.
