ah! - i fort it mite av bin a daft q - but thort i mite be edificated.

am i wrong in finking that sum 90's had 200tdi engines then?

A 90 is a 90, a TD is basically a 90 with a Turbo & a TDi Defender is a TDi Defender. Dunt ask me the years & months of each cuz I neither know or give a monkey's..........but I bet Adz knows cuz he's a nerdy siontist. :p

Aye there are differences but the bare engines are the same. The differences are just things like the turbo position and so on. They have different gear boxes too mind.

Anyway, back on topic... There are deals to be had if you are prepared to wait for them. It took me nearly 3 weeks to find 'the one' and Im very pleased with what I got in the end.

Nearly right Marcus... it's not 90 it's Ninety...

A 90 is a SWB Defender, a 110 is a LWB Defender. A Ninety is a SWB Land Rover, post series III and pre Defender 90, a One-Ten is the LWB Land Rover, post series III and pre Defender (apart from some confusion in 1989/90 where they were pre-Defender monica 90's and 110's)

It's explained pretty well here: Land Rover (Series/Defender) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
