Which would you choose for the crank seal Bearmach, Britpart or Allmakes? I'm just in the middle of doing the cam belt and then the rear crank seal too so want decent ones (a Britpart won't be used lol).

As long as its oem doesn't matter. Use jamesmartins code and all will be good.
Right so as long as it's OEM it's going to be fine.....so why is so much britpart stuff just utter garbage? I know they made (maybe still do) genuine spares but you only ever seem to hear bad things about them (except their HD yellow springs lol).

They are a supplier, they buy lots of cheap crap as the market wants that. The G on the end of the part number means genuine, same as landrover. You can't stick the G on third party crappy parts.

I was meaning at the point of manufacture, thus passing off to any and all suppliers a sub-standard part. I might be overthinking the situation, but China is only a hemisphere away!
