Which Haynes manual do I need ? 2003 53 reg. I'm thinking the green one, or the blue one, or possibly the red one (which I can get for a fiver

)

hi, i have a dec 2003 53 plate facelift model and i have the green one.

Mines a September 53 non-face lift. One of the red manuals cover up to September 2003, so maybe that one would do, the other red manual covers 97-02 so that's out, the blue manual is October 2003 to October 2006, so probably for the facelift models.
The green one seems to be the safest bet as it covers 97 to 06.
The hunt continues....

Mines a month shy off a 53 and I have the red one up to sept 03 which will be fine for you.

Thought so, the one I could have got for a fiver is up to 02.

what differences are there between the models with coils and distributor ? When was that change made and did they make any other changes at the same time ?

the only difference I can see as I have them both is the later one does not cover the series diesel , engine hope this helps

You can buy new off ebay for £12 incl pp as opposed to £20 odd from Halfrauds or direct from Haynes.

Might be me but the rave thing doesn't actually seem to be a repair manual - am I missing something?

Rave disk gives an over view description, as well as a repair method. Circuit diagrams also.

I must have the wrong download , no repair procedures on mine

looks exactly the same as the previous one except this has a workshop manual. Wierd.
