I am going to be ordering a filter kit from Paddocks soon but am unsure which one to buy.

They have 2 different kits for a 200tdi Disco.

-Disco 200tdi to JA18272
-Disco 200tdi to JA18273

Any advice on how to find out which one a need ?

well that'll be difficult as you've listed the same one twice. but the usual way to find out is to look at the chassis number.

The 2 filter kits have different JA numbers.

Then perhaps it should have said to JA18272---- From JA18273

And as I said in me 1st post check ya chassis number??

Is it worth getting the original one for the extra few quid then ? or are they pretty much the same ?

Personally, I have never bought an after-market filter where fluids are concerned. I just don't think its worth the risk. So pays your money and take your chances.
