When I look for spare parts for my 2003 Serengeti TD4 Automatic I keep on getting asked "Which Engine"
Either : 80kw/109hp
or 82kw/112hp
How do I find out which is the correct one for my vehicle?

It'll be on the V5.
My 05 TD4 SE auto is listed as 80Kw on the V5.

Hi again,
I"ve looked all over the V5 but can"t find anything which states it 80 or 82KW.. column P2 Max net power(kW/kg) is empty

Try asking LR or your local car parts place. Ones with good systems get a fair amount of detail come up with just your reg.

Difference was only within the software mechanically the same apart from manual and auto injectors and the egr cooler on later autos (and associated pipe work)

What parts you trying to buy?

HI,
Looking to buy Front Wiper linkage assembly without the motor. And in reply to Pardec "Does it really matter" why when ordering parts do they ask which engine it is either 80kw/109hp or 82kw/112hp

A lot of parts lists will show different engine powers, often assuming the engines are actually different. However on the Freelander TD4, the actual engine is the same, regardless of its power output. So you can safely select which ever engine output you like, especially when it's in relation to body item's, which are all the same regardless of which engine is fitted.
