This engine is currently for sale on fleabay, the seller is claiming it is a 2.5 from a 110.

Could those with the encyclopedic knowledge tell me if it is a 2.5 or what I suspect that's it's a late 2.25.

Thanks

There are a few more pics.

Just curious how can you tell it's a 5-brg?

on the bottom sides of the block just above the sump there are strengthening ribs, 3 bearing has a smooth channel, its definitely a 2.3 or 2.5 petrol they are very similar can you not ask for the engine no prefix

I will do so.
To be honest I thought having 13H7 cast into the block that it would be a 13H engine not a 17H. But I guess it was an assumption too far.
Many Thanks. Good to know about the strengthening ribs.

I'm sure It's a 2.5 petrol.
Should have a twin Weber carb under the black air intake
If your buying this see if they have the fuel swirl bowl. This is a black cylinder with 3 Conections in/out/return.
