My drivers door lock is not opening on my td5, can anyone tell me will the Maplin two wire motor do or do I need a motor with a switch since its the drivers door.

I am going by Maplin today but don't have time to take the door card off and look.

Cheers

Simples: NO... you will need a D2 door lock from Land Rover parts supplier around £50-£60 i think, they are one of the 700 improvements the D2 has on the D1 :)

So its just the back ones then? I might get one anyway as one of the back doors seemed to be struggling.

It's a waste of your time D2s don't have them, the lock and unlock actuators are built into the lock. Loads of threads in the Forum on D2 locks

I searched and found a post with a link to the Maplin actuator's.

What's wrong with the ecu? All doors lock but some are slow to open and the drivers won't open at all with the remote.
