Hi there, newbee here so please be gentle
Looking for Disco but really not sure which one to get, but do have some ideas.
Would like V8 one, Not too worried about mpg, will only do 5k a year max in it. Most likely look at doing a DIY LPG job, company in Wiltshire do a kit.
What I'm not sure about is the difference, or which is better, between a later disco 1 and the disco 2. I'm handy with the spanners and can wave a mig welding gun around, so ease of maintenance is good, but not having to maintain all the time is also good.
Been watching ebay and autotrader for the past month or so and prices seem to be all over the place, biggest price issue seems to be mileage rather than age. The later facelift disco 2 seem to hold a premium over earlier disco 2s.
So there you have it, pros and cons between later disco 1 and early disco 2 with a V8 lump under the bonnet.
