Hi Disco2 Experts,

Just about to buy a 2003 Disco2 ES and wanted to check a couple of things:

1. Which models have the rear a/c - or was that an optional extra? I've looked at a couple and they haven't had the roof outlets in the back, which I was hoping to get.

2. Can anyone tell me how wide the car actually is? All I can find is 2190mm including mirrors - that seems pretty wide and I'm a bit worried about getting it in the garage! Is that figure right and does anyone know the width with mirrors folded?

2. Sounds about right google tells me its around 1.9m ish

Thanks Goonarmy - I can only find the width with mirrors, my old American car was 74.5" wide and if a Disco is much wider it ain't going in!

I don't know if this helps but my 2001 ES has rear a/c.

face lift is basically same car, just different lights, bumper etc, i would think the external dimensions are pretty much the same,
as for aircon in rear, you would just have to scour through different cars, mine has aircon, 04, but i am not bothered, bit of sunshine, put winder down, better than all this **** weather

Rear ac is optional extra, i have very rarely seen it on them, good luck with your searching

For the UK spec D2s rear air conditioning was an option, as it was for the D1. For a 2004MY it was a £591 + vat option.
For some other markets it was a standard fitment.

I have rear A/C on a 2001 Y plate ES, but an umbrella would have been more useful

My 04 td5 es premium hasn't got rear aircon but it used to have a cold shower option which want standard when new but now fixed
