Agree with most of the comments re comfort/sleeping, but if you are only going to be occasionally using a landy you can get some bargain older 2.5 N/A diesels...a little worse mpg (i get 24 or 25mpg) and not quite the top end, mine sits good at 60mph but thats about it...you'll get maybe 15-20mph more but how often are you going to use it in your case?
For the money you are talking i'd go for a good N/A....rather than a buggered 200tdi...good luck!
