Am thinking of changing my air sus bags which are the best please?
Dunlop were good enough when they built the car so why change??
After all you would be very lucky to get a set of tyres which last the same length of time and the air springs get just as much as a hammering but it's usually a case of "Out of sight-Out of mind" then people moan because they have to spend £60 a corner to replace them yet don't say a thing about paying £150+ for a tyre.
The bellows on the Arnotts are crimped to the end caps, the Dunlops are held in place by a bead rather like a car tyre. The bellows material is better on the Arnotts and they come with a guarantee that some scoff at but others have found works. Arnott industries are a major maker of air suspension units for trucks in the USA. The originals may be good but everything can be improved upon, I think the ride is better on the Arnott'sWhat advantage do the Arnotts have over the Dunlop's?
Anyone have any idea how much a garage would cgarge to change all 4-labour only?

Problem is it's no longer the case. Dunlop replacement are crap. I've seen some 1995 still fine after 14 years and some 2005 rotten after only 6 years.Dunlop were good enough when they built the car so why change??
