Update, started her up and remembered to close the door this time, and she is pumped up and back to normal ride height, and staying up, now totally confused?:doh:

Dont be.......it's happening.......time to replace the bags i think......the soapy water kind of thing is not always working, the bags sometimes are just sealing themselves........but if u still dont know what was with the warning light then it could be some valve issue too

No need to be confused, your compressor is working so that's good. Your air springs are leaking so that's bad.

Buy two new air springs here:

RKB101200 Rear Air Spring - including 2x clips (WEB EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL OFFER)

To do the job takes about 15mins per side and does not require any special tools. Do a search on here for replacing rear suspension air bags.
