Which is the best snorkel kit for the defender 300TDi? The market is flooded with kits and I have heard that some operate better than others and also better fitting.

I had a plastic mushroom top Mantec snorkel fitted to my TD5 which I think was excellent. At some point I'm going to fit the same to my 300tdi, I just love the look of it.

Are there any that do away with the airbox completely?
None of the ones I have seen advertised actually tell you.

I don't think it would be a good idea to remove the air box or filter all the snorkels fit onto either the air box or the pipe to it
Would yo want to get heavy dust into your engine I think not
