My D2 V8 is acting strange, from time to time when I put my foot down or come to a hill she revs around 2000/2500 rpm and won't go anywhere, it comes back but take a while. I am hoping sparks and leads as God only knows when these where last changed as I have only had her 6 months. Any ideas would begreatful. Thanks.

how's the gearbox oil level... does the box change up ok or does it struggle, hold the gear for some time before changing up?

I fried my auto box clutch plates while it was holding the gears and refused to change up.
Check your oil, change it if possible.
