if you are really worried and paranoid change your temp sender wire to the fuel stop solenoid at the back of fip and vice versa every night and the thing wont start it just a pain in the ass changing them round every time you want to use it . i got the wires mixed up when doing a engine change and couldnt work out why she wouldnt start. Thats a point you would still get 12 volt from the temp sender wire wouldnt you

or use a switch to swap em over?
