Why not just use the landy ones????????

others look ok to me, some may say they need to be a bit further back but at the end of the day its up to you :)

I would sit at the side of the road and watch the discos go past, make a note of where their roof racks are, then work out an average and carefully move yours to that position. It's important to make sure yours is exactly the same as everyone elses. Now where's that stupid question thread gone:eek:

i put mine towards the back so i can reach into the roofbox from the spare wheel, otherwise i need to carry a ladder with me

After making careful note of the exact positions of all the other landys around here i'v decided to... be a lazy f**k and leave them right where they are. Cheers for replys, will just get some tall "dude" to put stuff up there!

That's more like it:D It's a bit of a **** getting em up there and strapped on, I usually stand on the bonnet of my 110 but discos won't stand that. I put em over to one side and stand on the tyres.

I thought that was the othe use for the bull bar and bonnet, access to the roof. Make some creaks but alway returns to shape :D
